Q. Do you charge a "service fee?"
A. Most legitimate, licensed and professional service companies do, so yes we do also.
Q What is your fee?
A. For most residential calls, we charge a minimum service charge of $49.95.
Q. Is this service charge added to the repair cost as well?
A. No. Appliance Service of Orlando only charges for one or the other, although many other service companies do. After the technician diagnoses your problem, they will give you the exact cost of the repairs. (Not an estimate.) Our repair quotes are flat rates based on National Appliance Repair Price Guides, you have the option to proceed with the repair or simply decline and pay only the service charges.
Q. Are you able to repair my appliance today?
A. Usually we can. We have our technicians to carry a comprehensive inventory of parts on their trucks to provide our customers with the highest probability of "same day repairs." Un like many other companies, which carry a very limited amount of parts or in some cases "0" inventory on their trucks, causing a delay of weeks or months to complete their repair work.
Q How long can we expect to wait on parts that have to be ordered?
A. Usually only a few days. Customers also have the option of overnight or second day shipping although there are additional charges for this. Our technicians are required to tell all customers that a week to ten days is average on our normal turn around time. This covers any errors and recovery that may arise with a part order.
Q. Do I have to wait all day for service?
A. You do not! Appliance Service of Orlando also has a better way of scheduling appointments too. We provide our customers with a very narrow and time saving "2 to 3 hour window" depending on how busy our schedule is for that day. Special arrangements can also be made for shut-ins, handicapped individuals, after hour and weekend service calls.
